His work has also been recognized by Thrillist, making him one of San Diego's most celebrated chefs. Throughout his career, Chef William has collaborated with acclaimed culinary leaders including Dominique Crenn, David Breeden, Jon Yao, and Ron McKinlay. His cuisine is rooted in Japanese techniques and flavors while embracing the seasonality and abundance of Southern California ingredients.
Today, Chef William leads the culinary vision for Pacific Point at Park Hyatt Aviara, where he is introducing a Japanese-inspired coastal cuisine program that reflects the spirit of Southern California's coastline. His expertise spans traditional sushi preparation, sashimi, handcrafted rolls, and innovative seafood dishes that highlight the natural quality of each ingredient.
